1. Introduction

At Shungite South Africa, customer satisfaction is important to us. We take great care in selecting, inspecting and packaging every product before it leaves our premises.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, this policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds are handled.

This policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Shipping Policy.

2. Return Period

You may request a return within 15 calendar days of receiving your order.

To qualify for a return, the item must:

• be unused;
• be in its original condition;
• be returned with its original packaging where reasonably possible; and
• include any accessories supplied with the product.

Returns requested after the 15-day period may not qualify for a refund unless required by applicable South African law.

3. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety or product integrity reasons, the following items may not be eligible for return unless they are defective or supplied incorrectly:

• Products that have been used
• Products damaged after delivery
• Products altered by the customer
• Gift cards (if offered)
• Clearance or final-sale items (where clearly identified)

4. Natural Stone Disclaimer

Authentic Karelian shungite is a natural geological material.

Every piece is unique and may vary in:

• colour;
• texture;
• shape;
• dimensions;
• natural mineral inclusions;
• quartz veins;
• surface markings; and
• overall appearance.

These natural variations are part of the beauty and authenticity of genuine shungite and are not regarded as defects.

Product photographs are intended as a guide only.

5. Incorrect or Damaged Orders

If you receive:

• the wrong product;
• a damaged product;
• an incomplete order; or
• goods damaged during delivery,

please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Where possible, include:

• your order number;
• photographs of the product;
• photographs of the packaging; and
• a brief description of the issue.

We will investigate the matter and provide an appropriate solution.

6. Return Shipping Costs

Where a return is requested because the customer has changed their mind or ordered incorrectly, the customer is responsible for all return courier costs.

If we supplied:

• the incorrect product;
• a defective product; or
• goods damaged before delivery,

Shungite South Africa will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable South African consumer legislation.

7. Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved, the refund will be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Shipping costs originally paid are generally non-refundable unless the return results from our error or where otherwise required by law.

8. Exchanges

Where stock is available, we may offer an exchange instead of a refund.

Exchanges are subject to product availability at the time the returned goods are received and inspected.

9. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled without any cancellation fee provided they have not yet been dispatched.

Once an order has been handed to the courier, it can no longer be cancelled as an undispatched order and will instead be handled under this Refund & Returns Policy.

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing contained in this policy limits or excludes any rights available to consumers under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.

Where legislation provides greater protection than this policy, the applicable law will apply.
